Dr. Thuva Amuthan founded Dr. Derme Skin Clinics in Birmingham and London. He was driven by the transformative impact that expert dermatological care can have on an individual’s self-confidence and overall quality of life. His vision was to create a clinic where the latest advancements in dermatology, aesthetics, and minor surgery converge to offer personalised care, helping patients not only achieve optimal skin health but also love the skin they’re in.

OuR HISTORY
Opening our doors in 2017 in Stirchley, our journey began with a modest clinic. We soon expanded to Wilmslow, Bromsgrove, and Redditch, and eventually to the globally renowned Harley Street medical area. Recognising the demand for our specialised services, we have now established ourselves in Wimbledon, Hall Green, Edgbaston, and Sutton Coldfield. Each move has been marked by a commitment to integrating state-of-the-art technology and expanding our treatment portfolio to include the latest innovations in skincare and minor surgery.

Louise is the Clinic Manager and an experienced Skin Therapist at Dr.Derme Edgbaston, with over a decade of expertise in beauty and aesthetics. Specialising in acne, pigmentation and overall skin health, she combines extensive knowledge with a passion for achieving visible results. Louise carefully assesses each client’s skin and creates personalised treatment plans using medical-grade skincare and advanced techniques.
Laura
Laura oversees the day-to-day operations of the clinic, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Her extensive experience in healthcare management enables her to support to both our clinical team and our patients. Passionate about dermatology and aesthetic care, Laura is dedicated to maintaining high standards of service and patient satisfaction. She ensures that all procedures, including minor surgeries, are conducted with the utmost care and professionalism, reflecting the clinic’s commitment to excellence in all aspects of patient care.
Stephanie
Stephanie is our Clinic Manager at Dr. Derme’s Wimbledon location, focusing her efforts on managing the facility’s operations. With a background as an osteopath, she brings a deep understanding of healthcare to her administrative role, enhancing the operational efficiency of the clinic premises. Her primary responsibility is ensuring the clinic runs smoothly, overseeing everything from facility maintenance to compliance with health regulations, which supports the team in delivering top-quality care in dermatology, aesthetics, and minor surgeries.
